Simply by Using One FingerElden Ring Streamer is Successful in Defeating Margit

4/1/2023 5:17:32 AM

Challenge runs are a staple of FromSoftware's catalogue and have only become more popular (and ridiculous) over the years. A streamer playing Elden Ring has demonstrated that it is possible to defeat Margit with a single finger, and they intend to finish the game in the same manner. What started out as what seemed to be impossible attempts to complete Dark Souls without taking a hit or leveling up has become a content powerhouse among YouTube creators and Twitch streamers. Over the course of the past year, MissMikkaa has made a name for herself by participating in a variety of challenges of this kind. Her Elden Ring challenge runs are particularly well-known, and they only get more and more ridiculous after each one. Even getting that achievement only took 199 tries, which is fewer than some people have racked up when playing a single version of Elden Ring the traditional way. She defeated Malenia earlier this year in two distinct versions of the game at the same time, one of which was connected to a controller and the other of which was connected to a dance pad. The following video provides a controller point of view that demonstrates how MissMikkaa has remapped the majority of the game's buttons in order to make this playable.

However, MissMikkaa was not satisfied with this and is now attempting to beat Elden Ring using only one finger on the controller

  • The R1 button on a DualSense controller would normally need to be pressed in order to initiate an attack; however, the D-pad is now being used as the input

  • Movement is handled by the bottom of her finger, and camera control has been sacrificed, which means that there is a heavy reliance on the target lock to complete encounters

  • This may be of interest to anyone who is curious about how even this is practically possible

  • It is incredible to think that MissMikkaa has already defeated the Fire Giant, which means that she is likely to finish the challenge at any moment

  • Before a single finger can lay claim to the title of Elden Lord, they must first prevail in all five of the game's mandatory boss fights

  • It has only taken her a little over ten hours to reach and defeat the Fire Giant, at a very respectable rune level of 72

  • This video was posted to Twitter less than a day ago

The fact that MissMikkaa is now wielding the Ringed Finger, a Hammer consisting of a real finger that has been encased in several rings, makes the run even more impressive. In addition to this, it has only taken her a little more than ten hours to reach the Fire Giant and defeat it. The undeniable talent of MissMikkaas, combined with her meteoric rise in popularity, led to her taking home the trophy for Best Soulslike Streamer at the most recent Streamer Awards. This transpired only a few days after she had performed "Elden Ring" on guitar.
