Experienced players of games developed by FromSoftware may already have a good idea of when the first piece of downloadable content (DLC) for Elden Ring will be made available to the general public, despite the fact that it has not yet been made available to the general public.

To begin, there is a certain amount of conjecture and speculation among fans regarding Shadow of the Erdtree. This is due to the fact that the game has not yet been released. The reason for this is that the game has not yet been made available to the general public. We are aware that Torrent will play a role in it, and while it is not completely certain, the overwhelming majority of fans believe that it will explain some of the mysteries that surround Miquella. It is possible to deduce both of these pieces from the one piece of concept art that has been made public so far in connection with the expansion. In addition, there are a few things that can be assumed, such as the fact that there will be new boss fights, exploration zones, weapons, spells, and non-playable characters (NPCs). Other things that can be assumed include that there will be new exploration zones, weapons, spells, and NPCs.

The Erdtree Shadow is a part of the downloadable content for the Elden Ring, which you can access here.

It is possible that another year will pass before the downloadable content for Elden Ring is finally made available to the public.

It is possible that consumers will be able to purchase Shadow of the Erdtree as early as the month of December 2023, despite the fact that our projections indicate that the release of Shadow of the Erdtree will not occur until the early part of the year 2024.

  • The release schedules of previous downloadable content for FromSoftware's games that was made available in the past were used to derive this estimation

  • The free content update for Sekiro was made available to the general public eighteen months after the game was initially made available to the general public, and Ashes of Ariandel was made available to the general public six months after Dark Souls 3 was initially made available to the general public

  •  Dark Souls 3 was initially made available to the general public

  • This provides a broad range from which to make judgments, so keep that in mind

  • Given that the downloadable content for Elden Ring was announced one year after the release of the base game, it is reasonable to assume that the six-to-eighteen-month range should begin at that point

  • In other words, it is reasonable to assume that the beginning of the range should be at that point

Since the DLC was first announced more than six months ago, FromSoftware has kept a very tight-lipped stance regarding it, which may have contributed to the longer delay. However, the longer delay may not be entirely FromSoftware's fault. If it were further along in the development process, the company might be more eager to brag about it. But as it stands, the process is not very far along. However, the process is not very far along as it currently stands. In addition, the Elden Ring was an enormous commercial success for the company, outselling all of the other products that the company had on the market at the time by a significant margin. Because of this, FromSoftware has an incentive to develop the Elden Ring downloadable content (DLC) at its own leisurely pace, and it also has an incentive to keep quiet about it until an exact release date can be confirmed.
