Introduction to the Diablo 2 Resurrected WW Assault Rifle Build

3/8/2023 6:27:43 AM

If you like playing melee characters, the WW Sin is a fantastic build for you to try out. They have a gameplay style that is extremely comparable to that of WW Barbarians, but they are significantly more flexible. You will not be able to use Whirlwind unless you are wearing a Chaos Claw, which means that even the most basic build will cost you an Ohm rune. You won't be able to play the build directly from a ladder start because of this. You have the ability, in contrast to WW barbs, to deal a variety of damage, including Physical, Crushing Blows, Open Wounds, and Poison damage respectively. The game can be played single-handedly without any issues; however, the eight-player damage output is not extremely high, and the build is not one of the most effective boss killers.

Due to the fact that the build's survivability is not as good as that of some other melee builds, Uber Diablo and Uber Tristam will present difficulties. If you want a hardcore experience that doesn't make you stressed out, this one is probably not the best choice for you. You will be able to move through any obstacle if you have Whirlwind, and if you make use of Burst of Speed, your movement will be extremely rapid. Teleportation can be accomplished with the use of an Enigma, provided the user has sufficient wealth. When equipped with high-end gear, the solo clearspeed is very fast, and you have a lot of leeway to customize your character and make use of a wide variety of skills and gear based on the objectives you wish to accomplish. The build is not considered to be one of the best ones for MFing, but it will perform fairly well if its inventory is filled with 7%MF Small Charms and it has a Gheed's Fortune. It will take you approximately four to five minutes to complete a solo run of either the Chaos or Baal difficulty.

  • Because of its poor survivability, it is not a good choice for the Hardcore difficulty setting

  • In terms of Magic Find, this is not one of the more efficient builds

Suggestions
When it comes to playing the game by yourself, the build is an excellent choice. Be sure that you have a reasonable chance of survival; a Call to Arms can be of great assistance to you in this regard. Because you are dealing damage from a variety of different sources, you should have no trouble killing immune monsters.

When playing in a party, a WW Sin will not provide significant boosts to the party, but the party can still benefit from the auras that your Mercenaries have. When you use a Nightmare Act 2 Merc with a Pride or Doom Runeword, you and the rest of your party will be granted the Might and Concentration or Holy Freeze aura.

Hardcore and Survivability: Although I wouldn't recommend this build for hardcore, it does have the potential to have respectable survivability. It is possible to accumulate 4,000 life, and if you make use of Fade and have a high level of Weapon Block, you will be extremely difficult to kill.

Damage output: While Whirlwind's ability to deal damage is limited, you can still deal damage from multiple sources, which can add up to a significant total. You will be able to kill many monsters with a single hit if you are equipped with top-tier gear; however, killing bosses will still take some time. It is always to your advantage to be able to use two weapons at once, and you have a wide variety of options for secondary weapons.

Where to farm: Anywhere that will have you! You should use WW Sins in areas with a high monster density to farm, but you can use them to farm bosses if you have a high enough damage output. WW Sins are best suited for farming in areas with a high monster density.

Magic Find: Although this build is not typically considered to be a good fit for magic find, it is possible to magic find with a Gheed and 7% Magic Find Small Charms if you so choose.

Budget: You won't be able to use the Whirlwind skill until you equip a Chaos weapon. Because of this, you will need to make an initial investment, and you won't be able to begin your ladder season with a WW assa.

Mana/Life: You can drink mana potions as long as you do not have a percentage of mana stolen per hit on any of your equipment. You can avoid the hassle of dealing with potions by employing an Act 2 mercenary who is armed with an Insight runeword. Your ability to survive hits will improve significantly if you wear jewelry that has life leech, so try to acquire as much of it as you can.

Movement and Mobility: When you combine Burst of Speed and Whirlwind, your movement speed and mobility will be increased to incredible levels. You are going to breeze through any challenges that you face and arrive at your destination in record time. Even if you opt to use Teleportation, an Enigma is still a viable option.

WW Sins are ineffective against Ubers due to their unique abilities. If you absolutely must do them, equip yourself with items that increase your survivability, focus on increasing your crushing blow percent, and strive to improve your attack rating. Have a secondary weapon that can be charged with the Life Tap ability so that you can cast the curse on the Ubers.

Skill panel: While holding down the shift button and clicking at the same time, you can spam any skill. Whirlwind (F1) is the ability I recommend using in the left skill panel. Burst of Speed (F2), Venom (F3), Fade (F4), Shadow Master (F5), Battle Command - cast it twice (F6), Battle Orders (F7), and Town portal (F8) are the skills that you should use for the right skill panel. I recommend that you use these skills.

Mercenary: To increase your damage output via Might Aura, use the Nightmare Act2 Offensive Mercenary ability.
